ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN ACQUAMONDO AND VAL GRANDE NATIONAL PARK
Comments are Off
The environmental education activities in the Museum provide an introduction to the natural history and features of the Val Grande National Park and a guided tour of the aquarium and terrarium hall, displaying the most characteristic species of fresh water and their habitats. The visit to the facility is usually combined with an active experimentation phase, featuring various activities based on the chosen theme, in a lab with aquariums, microscopes, models and interactive games or animations and fun-learninggames for younger children. The didactics can also be combined with outdoor tours in the “Lower Val Grande Nature Area”, with hands-on activities to explore the chosen theme: observation, measurement, sampling and other sensory experiences.
